An eco-friendly little gift to help the bees and butterflies - each personalised box contains wildflower seed balls that are perfect for pollinators. Easy for your guests to use, they'll work as well in a window box or balcony pot as in a garden bed, simply scatter into a pot and let nature do the rest :) A beautiful and lasting way to remember a super special day while helping the bees and butterflies!
Variations
Each box (made from 100% recycled card) contains 6 seed balls and a little card explaining how the balls work, and how to use them. Coverage for 2-3 pots.
Choose from 5 lovely designs and the wildflower seed mix you would like the seed balls to contain. Let us know the names and date you’d like us to use (or any other text you would like us to include), and our team will carefully create your personalised boxes.
Bee Mix: A mix of native wildflowers that bees will just love! This carefully selected mix is designed specifically to attract solitary bees, honey bees and bumblebees. Mix of Birdsfoot Trefoil, Foxglove, Red Clover, Viper’s Bugloss and Wild Marjoram – all recommended as bee-friendly plants by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
Butterfly Mix: A mix of native wildflowers that are perfect for butterflies! This lovely collection of mostly purple, pink and blue flowers is designed to attract butterflies to our gardens, balconies and window boxes. Mix of Purple Loosestrife, Forget-me-not, Musk mallow, Red campion and Yarrow.
Urban Meadow: A beautiful mix of native wildflowers that will do well in most gardens, including those in more polluted areas (and ideal for road verges). Mix of Common toadflax, Cornflower, Cowslip, Meadow cranesbill, Musk mallow, Oxeye daisy and Red campion.
Poppy: Seed balls bursting with native red poppy seeds.
Cornflower: Brilliantly blue British cornflowers.

Seed Box Dimensions: 5.8cm x 3.7cm x 1.5cm. Each seed ball is just under 1cm in diameter.
Made from
We make the balls ourselves from a mixture of UK wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The outer clay protects means that the seeds are inaccessible to ants & birds, and once sufficient water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside begin to germinate - helped along by the nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder continues to deter slugs and snails while the seed ball slowly degrades and the seeds sprout.
Each box (made from 100% recycled card) contains 6 seed balls, plus a little card insert to explain what the balls are and how to use them. Seed balls are incredibly easy to use - simply scatter on top of soil or compost (no digging or expertise required!) and nature will do the rest! One box will cover 1-2 pots. Use 5-6 boxes per square metre in a garden.
